DEEP - Our Charity Partner

MultiSport Canada is partnering with DEEP Canada and several other camp-based charities to make sure that kids have amazing outdoor experiences every summer.  Each team will raise money for the partner charity of their choice, thereby ensuring that hundreds of under-privileged kids will attend camps each year.

The Deepwater Experiential Education Project (DEEP) is a not-for-profit organization which provides scholarships for young people from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds to participate in wilderness leadership programs.

• Young people not only learn physical skills in the wilderness, they develop communication and leadership skills. We believe that exposure to the wilderness is an important element in the development of inspired, empowered and compassionate leaders.  After our first decade, we have seen that the young people we support contribute positively to their families and greater communities for years to come.
• DEEP  is committed to sending as many kids to camp as possible.
• We believe that camp is an integral growth opportunity in the life and a child and thus we provide scholarships to economically disadvantaged kids who want to attend a wilderness program.
